Nine states with no state income withholding tax:
 
Alaska
Florida
Nevada
New Hampshire
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas
Washington
Wyoming
Just five states have no statewide sales tax:
 
Alaska
Delaware
Montana
New Hampshire
Oregon

Of the 45 states (plus the District of Columbia) that have statewide sales taxes, 16 of those states do not charge sales tax on freight (applicable rules can be complex and vary by state).
