Since new front end menu files are provided with the 2001 update, all modules are turned on. If you do not use point-of-sale or job cost or bill of materials, you may need to turn those modules off.

If you have not previously installed the 97-99 updates, you will need to set-up the supplemental system file and go into the terms program (SY-B). Payroll users will need to update their FICA limits as well as SUTA, work comp and SDI rates. Once the 2001 updates are installed, go to SY-C and you will see the new user permission option. In connection with 2000-2001 updates, you will also note the new option under inventory (IC-M) and the credit analysis report (AR-O).
